LTJG Harry Ettinger, Julian Gilliland AT2/CA and Jess McElroy AOU3/CA were shot down by Korean AAA on 14 Dec 51.
They were held as PRISONERS OF WAR by the Koreans until their release in the Summer of '53 as the result of "Operation Big Switch".
