Recognizes The Hospitality Of The USS Hornet For Three VAN Teams In The Late 1950's
     (VAN 29 11 MAY 54 TO 12 DEC 54, VAN 48 21 JAN 57 TO 25 JUL 57, VAN 54 6 JAN 58 TO 30 JUN 58)

On October 6, 2003, Chuck Borris, Jim Gardner, Bill Happersett and their wives were welcomed aboard the USS Hornet by Jerry Lutz, the ship CEO and Rick Thom, the Director of Restoration and Recovery. The presentation was held in "Ready Room #4" where the plaque will be placed on a bulkhead.
